Power supply disconnected or low
For our GPS tracking units to operate correctly, they need to receive a constant voltage supply.
If a device looses power, you'll notice a red error message appear on the device in the Map or Vehicles page. Clicking on the
, will give you further information on the alert.
If this occurs, follow these steps to resolve the issue:
1. Check Power Supply
- Ensure the tracker is receiving a constant voltage supply, as this is required for proper operation.
2. Verify Cable Connection
- At the tracker's end: Make sure the 12-pin cable is firmly connected to the device.
- For hardwired setups: Have someone check all wiring connections to ensure they are secure and properly installed.
- For OBD plug and play cables: Confirm that the OBD cable is fully inserted into the OBD port of the vehicle.
