Transfer Your GPS Tracker with Track My Ride


Transferring your GPS tracker is a seamless process supported by Track My Ride. Follow these steps to ensure a smooth transition for both you and the new owner:

Keep a record or write down the tracker ID of the device that you are removing/transferring 

Step 1: Deactivate the Tracker

Note:  Deactivating a device can also be started by deleting a vehicle with those steps found here https://support.trackmyride.com.au/portal/en/kb/articles/remove-a-vehicle
  1. Log in to your account on our platform.
  2. Navigate to the "settings" page.
  3. Look for the "Billing and Subscription" section and on the right side click "Reactivate or deactivate a tracker" to deactivate the one you want.


Step 2: Verification Process

Simply send us an email from the email linked to your Track My Ride account to let us know you would like the device removed from your account completely.

Step 3: Complete Removal and New Owner Information

  1. We will fully remove the tracker from your customer profile, making it ready to be activated by someone else.
  2. Let the new owner know they will need to create their own account by visiting https://app.trackmyride.com.au.
