Mobile Phone Tracking Supported Devices
Compatible iPhones and Android phones for mobile tracking
For mobile tracking, Track My Ride currently supports the following devices. Other devices will likely still function, though they have not been tested by the Track My Ride team.
Both iPhone and Android can require between 200 to 1000 metres of movement before GPS tracking activates, especially if you have been stationary for a while. This is part of the phone's built in power saving features and cannot be adjusted by changing settings. Track My Ride recommends using the Snap to Road feature to clean up the small jump at the start of your journey.
