Alerts for different events

Our alert system helps you stay informed about your vehicle's activities and condition. Here's a simple guide to the different types of alerts and how you can customise them.

1. Movement Alerts

Type: Driving or Journeying
What it Does: Tells you when your vehicle starts moving.
Criteria:

  • After being parked for more than 30 minutes
  • Anytime
  • Between 6pm and 6am
  • Between 11pm and 6am
  • On Saturday or Sunday
  • On the weekend
  • On a weekday
  • For more than 2 or 3 hours non-stop
Type: Speed Exceeding (Single Point)
What it Does: Alerts you if your vehicle goes over a certain speed.
Criteria:
  • Choose from set speeds: 90, 100, 105, 110, 120, 130, 140 km/h
  • Or set your own custom speed
Type: Speed Exceeding (3 Consecutive Points)
What it Does: Alerts you if your vehicle maintains high speed for longer.
Criteria: Same as Single Point speed options

Type: Entering a Zone
What it Does: Notifies you when your vehicle enters a specific area.
Criteria:
  • Choose specific zones you've set up
  • Or select "All zones"
Type: Exiting a Zone
What it Does: Notifies you when your vehicle leaves a specific area.
Criteria: Same as Entering a Zone

2. Maintenance & Service Alerts

Type: Odometer Exceeding (km)
What it Does: Reminds you when your vehicle has traveled a certain distance.
Criteria: Set your own kilometer value

Type: Hourmeter Exceeding (hours)
What it Does: Alerts you when the engine has run for a set time.
Criteria: Set your own hour value

Type: Date Exceeding (date)
What it Does: Reminds you of upcoming service or maintenance dates.
Criteria: Choose a specific date

3. Sensor Alerts (for Hardware Trackers)

Type: Motion Detected While Engine is Off
What it Does: Alerts you if your car moves when it shouldn't.
Criteria: No additional options - it's either on or off

Type: Engine Turned On
What it Does: Notifies you when the engine starts.
Criteria: No additional options - it's either on or off

Type: Voltage
What it Does: Warns you about low battery or power issues.
Criteria:
  • Disconnected external power or main battery
  • For cars: Below 12.2V, 12V, or 11.8V
  • For trucks: Below 26V, 25V, or 24V
  • Or set your own voltage level
Type: Inputs
What it Does: Alerts you when certain electrical systems change state.
Criteria:
  • Input 1 or 2 wire: Low to High (> 9 Volts)
  • Input 1 or 2 wire: High to Low (0 Volts)

4. Green Driving Alerts

Type: Harsh Acceleration
What it Does: Detects sudden increases in speed.
Criteria:

  • For cars: Low (0.60 G), Medium (0.50 G), High (0.45 G) sensitivity
  • For trucks: Low (0.45 G), Medium (0.40 G), High (0.35 G) sensitivity
  • For heavy vehicles: Low (0.40 G), Medium (0.35 G), High (0.30 G) sensitivity
  • Or set your own G-force value
Type: Harsh Braking
What it Does: Detects sudden decreases in speed.
Criteria: Similar to Harsh Acceleration, with different G-force values

Type: Harsh Cornering
What it Does: Detects sharp turns.
Criteria: Similar to Harsh Acceleration, with different G-force values


Additional Settings for All Alerts

  • Vehicles: Choose specific vehicles or "All vehicles and devices"
  • Notification Method: Email, SMS, or Push Notification
  • Frequency: How often the alert can be triggered (1 minute to 2 hours)
  • Zone Limit: Restrict the alert to specific areas
  • Suppression: Set times or conditions when the alert shouldn't trigger

  • Zone limits for specific alerts
  • Time-based suppression
  • Ignored zones
