Setting up an Alert

Alerts can be set up to notify you of important events via Push Notification (mobile app alert), Email or SMS.

There are various trigger events you can specify, including:
  1. Your driver arriving at work
  2. Your engine turning on
  3. Your vehicle speeding

Available Alerts

Track My Ride offers a great variety of Alerts that can be set up and configured in just the way you need. To set up an alert, follow the guide below.

Setting up and editing an Alert


  • Open the Alerts page 
  • Navigate to the Setup tab 
  • Click the green New button  
    • To edit, click the pencil button to right of the row
  • This will open up the pop-up window shown below

  • Choose the Alert Type from the drop-down menu
  • Input the alert Criteria you would like (if applicable)
  • Select All vehicles and devices or individually select which vehicles/devices to monitor
  • Input how you would like to receive the alert (Push notifications , email addresses, and/or SMS numbers)
To input multiple emails or numbers, separate the values with a comma (,)
  • Click the Save Alert button
