How to adjust your mobile tracking licences

A mobile tracking licence is required for each mobile phone you wish to track. Refer to https://www.trackmyride.com.au/pricing or within your account billing page for our latest pricing and plan details. Here, you'll find straightforward steps for adding new licences and modifying existing licences for your account. This ensures optimal management of your mobile assets and team members with minimal effort.




What is a mobile tracking licence?

A mobile tracking licence permits you to track one mobile phone using the Track My Ride app. It's how you pay for our service. Refer to https://www.trackmyride.com.au/pricing or within your account billing page for our latest pricing and plan details.

Adjusting your mobile tracking licences

  1. To adjust your mobile tracking licences, navigate to the Account page by clicking the Cog icon.
  2. Scroll to the section Billing and Subscriptions.
  3. Click on the blue link Manage mobile licences.
  4. Adjust your required quantity of licences. Remember, you will need one mobile tracking licence per phone you wish to track.
    1. Bonus! If you have existing TMR hardware trackers a complimentary mobile licence is included per active hardware licence.
  5. You'll be shown a quote for the change in your billing for you to review and continue with.








Decreasing your mobile tracking licences

If you need to decrease your mobile tracking licences, you can do so from the same page shown above. Your decrease will be scheduled to occur at the end of your current billing period. You can continue to use your mobile tracking licence to track a phone for the duration of your current billing period. At the end of your billing period, if a reduction is scheduled to occur and the licence is still in use, the most recently activated mobile tracked driver will have their mobile tracking deactivated. You will be notified via email of this, and who was deactivated. We do not offer refunds for reductions in mobile tracking licences mid billing period, per our Terms and Conditions.


Hardware trackers include a complimentary mobile tracking licence

If you're a Track My Ride account holder with active hardware trackers, we have great news for you! Each active TMR hardware tracker includes a complimentary mobile tracking licence on your existing plan level. You can use this licence to track one mobile phone.
